Paul “Gary” Hughes, 68, of Westminster, died Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at home. Born Feb. 15, 1947 in Patapsco, he was the son of Gulendya Green Ford of Keysville and the late Paul Wilson Hughes.
Before retiring he worked at Finch Services, R.D. Bowman’s and Baugher’s. He enjoyed hunting, entertaining and taking care of the farm.
He is survived by his wife Susan Stum Hughes, 2 daughters, Teresa Hughes of Manchester, Laura Hughes Howard and fiancé Michael Soliday of Gettysburg, PA, and a son Rob Hughes of Westminster, sister Shelbe Stambaugh and husband Larry of Keysville, 6 grandchildren Stephanie and Megan Howard, Alexander Hill, Emma and Owen Hughes and Mia Soliday.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by a son Paul Gary Hughes, Jr. and grandson Ryan Paul Howard.
