Paul G. Houston, 62, Of Brighton, Passed away on April 9, 2015.
On June 26, 1952. Paul was born to Ted and Neva Houston in Lamar, Colorado. When Paul was 2, his family moved to the Denver area. Paul attended school in Commerce City, Colorado and went to work with his father, Ted. They traveled around installing siding for homes and businesses. Later, when Paul started a family he became a member of International Union of Operating Engineers, local 9, where he was a heavy equipment operator.

Paul was a man of many talents. He was a talented artist. He designed and built custom bird houses. Anything that he could imagine, he could create. He was also very mechanically inclined and could repair just about anything.

Paul loved to go fishing, garden and he loved to cook green chili. His favorite fishing hole was Gross Reservoir where he and his life long friend, Jerry Fresquez, would often go. Paul had many plans to travel to the Southwest with his girlfriend, Romina. He was a quick witted jokester with a dry sense of humor. Most of all, Paul loved to spend time with his Grandchildren. They were the joy of his life.
His loving, generous and kind hearted spirit will truly be missed by all.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Ted R. Houston.

He is survived by his mother, Neva Houston, of Brighton, His sister, Debra (Butch) Herman, of Thornton, his three children, Tracey (Roberto) Spindola, of Lochbuie, Paul Gregory Houston II, of Brighton, Robert Benefiel, of Colorado Springs, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Ana and Alex Spindola, and Gabriella and Mikey Paul Houston.
