Paul Frederick Campbell, 86, a resident of 31 “O” Street, in the Turners Falls section of the Town of Montague, and Deputy Chief (Ret.) for the Greenfield Fire Department, passed peacefully on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility, 130 Colrain Road, Greenfield, MA, following a period of declining heath.
Paul was born on July 6, 1936, in Greenfield, MA, to Mildred U. Clark and James Michael Campbell. He was educated at the former Holy Trinity Parochial School, Greenfield Public Schools and a graduate of GHS in the Class of 1954. Paul served honorably in the United States Navy, entering on July 6, 1955, assigned to Naval Air Station @ Quonset Point, R. I., and was discharged with the rank of AMS-3 on July 2, 1959.
