Paul Eugene Lanner, 73 passed away May 7, 2014 at his home in Rockvale. He was born April 25, 1941 to Carl and Marion (Mann) Lanner at Minneapolis, MN. Paul was an officer with the Minnesota State Patrol for 20 years. He was an active member of the Florence Senior Center and Colorado Mounted Rangers. Paul was the last person to be named Scout Master of the Year by the Eagle Scout Association of America. Paul loved bead-work, making knives and loved music. He is survived by his wife Pixie of 52 years, children: Scott (Ruth) Lanner and Penny Lanner, grandchildren; Christina (Marcus) Robinson and Victoria Lanner; siblings: Carol, Joan and Terry and five great-grandsons. He was preceded by his parents.
