Paul Edwin Johnson, 81, passed away on March 11, 2013 in Centennial, Colorado. Paul was born August 15, 1931 in Omaha, Nebraska to Peter Edwin (Ed) and Mary Jeanette Johnson. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by sisters Mary Jeanette Murphy, Irene Jamison, Patricia Stevenson and granddaughter, Kristen Johnson. Paul is survived by wife. Patricia Lee Johnson; 8 children, Laura Chew, Mary Wilfawn, Diane Burke and husband Mike, Paula Gibeault and husband Jo, Theresa Pelo, Paul E. Johnson Jr and wife Karen, Margi Johnson, Vinny Johnson and wife Monique; grandchildren, Adam, Ryan, and Sarah Chew, Todd and Jody Wilfawn, Matthew Burke, Patrice Holder and husband Stanley, Rachel Johnson and Emily Martinez, Hannah and Cassie Pelo, Kaylie Gonzales and husband Nate, Nate Johnson, Traci and Scott Bockenstedt, Nicole and Noel Johnson, James and Casey Fleming; 8 great grandchildren, Matthew and Austin Burke, Brayden Holder, Aaron and Alexis Johnson, Olyvia Morosy, Elizabeth Gonzales, Kolten Davis and many other nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Paul spent 4 years in the US Navy proudly serving his country during the Korean War on the USS St Paul. He completed his BA in 3 years under the GI bill at the University of Nebraska.
He led by example showing that faith, family, integrity and laughter will get you thru just about whatever life will throw at you. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
