Paul Edward Thomas of Clarksburg, WV, beloved husband of Pamela Strother Thomas, passed peacefully February 23, 2013 at VAMC in his 64th year. He was born November 21, 1948 in Clarksburg; son of the late Thomas Joseph Thomas and Virginia Lee George Thomas Hutson. In addition to his wife of 34 years he is survived by four children, Joseph Thomas of Clarksburg, Jillian Clark and companion Lukas Weaber of Clarksburg, Aimee Mencho-Lopez and husband Efrain of GA, Jeremy Scott Thomas and wife Tammy of GA; nine grandchildren; Skyler Clark, Eliza Clark, Gabrielle Ross, Michael Clark, Aiden Mencho-Lopez, Isabella Thomas, Jetmire Thomas, Cierra Thomas, Jamie Gordon; one step grandchild Duncan Weaber; sister, Susan Carson and husband Frank of Salem; half brother Bradley Hutson; several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Paul was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jendaya Thomas. Paul was a proud Navy Veteran that served in Vietnam. He worked many years for Anchor Hocking before moving into the produce department of Foodland in the Rosebud Plaza of Clarksburg. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, being outdoors, and writing short stories.
