Paul Edward “Bud” Jones, 80, of Hebron, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 24, 2017, at home with his beloved family by his side.
Born in Scranton, PA, on September 24, 1936, he was a son of the late Paul and Emma ((Washburn) Jones. Bud married his teenage sweetheart and the love of his life, Connie Quinn, on October 5, 1957. The couple shared nearly sixty years together, raising their loving family in the home they made together in Hebron. He was a proud veteran, having served in the U.S. Airforce as an airplane mechanic during the Vietnam War. Bud retired several years ago after a career with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft as an Inspector. He was an active member of his community having volunteered for 45 years with the Hebron Fire Department and also serving for a time as a town constable.
