He loved to travel and was fortunate to accompany his parents on several trips to foreign lands, as well as annual fall color tours of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, in his younger years.

After graduating from River Valley High School and attending University of Michigan, his long career as a truck driver enabled him to fulfill his love of being behind the wheel as he traveled extensively throughout the U.S, both for work and on vacations with his children or friends. In later years, as a full-time delivery person for the New Buffalo Pizza Hut, he was widely known by area residents.

Paul’s greatest love in life was his Union Pier home overlooking Lake Michigan, where he enjoyed time on the beach with friends and family.
