Paul Walton 88 passed away April 19th. Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Sandra Smith Walton. Paul was a Veteran of the Korean War. Member of St. John’s United Methodist Church for 40 years and then a member of Wilson’s Chapel. Paul retired from Acipco after 42 years of employment. The past two years of his life he has lived in the Kirkwood By the River Community. The family is so thankful for the love and care and much fun he had with his Kirkwood Community.
Paul is survived by his children, Mike Walton (Lynn), Shelli Sexton (ChucK), Gary Walton (Becky) and Paula Gunter (Corey). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren that he adored and 20 great grandchildren that he often said there is a reason they are called “great” and one great great grandson. He is survived by sister, Vera Walton of Gardendale and brother Harry Walton.
Paul was well known for his big bear hugs and his constant smile.
