Paul Davis Sr., 78, of 157 Clay St., New Haven passed away Aug. 2, 2011 in YaleNew HavenHospital. He was the husband of the late Johnnie Mae Sanders Davis. Mr. Davis was born in Orangeburg County, South Carolina on Aug. 17, 1932, son of the late George and Elizabeth Fuller Davis. He worked as a warehouseman for Cott Beverages for many years prior to his retirement. He was a devoted member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He is survived by two sons, Paul Davis Jr. and Antonio Davis, both of New Haven; two daughters, Tamela Davis Bash of West Haven and Sandy M. Davis of New Haven; three brothers, Samuel Brown and Harry L. Davis, both of Maryland and Abraham Davis of South Carolina; six sisters, Lillie L. Snider, Josephine Walker, Dorothy L. Raysor and Sally A. Guess, all of South Carolina, Minnie Goldberg and Elizabeth Gregory, both of New Jersey and 14 grandchildren; He was predeceased by a daughter, Ira S.
