He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Newberry and Frances Clowers. He is survived by his son, Bradley Sherwood and his fiancé Denise Watts of Dalton; daughter and son in law, Brittany and Dakota Lands of Dalton; sisters and brother in law, Cynthia Shahan of Dalton, Vickie and Charles Nelson of Rocky Face; and a grandchild, Piper Lands.
