Paul D. Fischer, 81, of Emmaus, died Friday, March 7, 2008, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Dietrich and Flora (Cunningham) Fischer. A graduate of Lehigh University with a degree in Engineering, he was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Corp., DuPont Corp., Western Electric and most recently Maurer and Scott Sales, Inc.of the Lehigh Valley. He was gifted in his love of restoring antique cars, especially the Auburn and Cord and also restoring antique rifles. Survivors: his son, Mark D. Fischer and his wife Lisa of Irvine, CA; sister Nancy Slagle of Fairfield, Conn.; nieces Judy, Susan, Betsy and Sallee; longtime companion Helen Sesick of Whitehall.
