Paul “Cuz” Bruno
1955~2022

We regretfully announce the unexpected passing of Paul Bruno, age 66, of Drexel Hill, on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. He will be forever loved and remembered as a devoted and loyal father, brother, uncle, friend, and infamous “Cuz”.

Paul is predeceased by his mother, Assunta, and his father Guiseppe. Paul is survived by his son, Joseph (Kate), his brother Peter (Regina), and his sisters Gina Stumpo, Lena (Allen) Cribb, and Bambina (Alexander) Lepore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Paul was born on June 27, 1955 in Luzzi, Italy. After immigrating to New York City with his family on April 24, 1956, he grew up in Belmont Hills, PA and attended Harriton High School. He married Cynthia Lutz on August 27th, 1983 and moved to Drexel Hill, PA. Although they separated, Cindy and Paul remained lifelong friends and strong, loving parents to their son, Joseph.

Paul lived in Drexel Hill for the remainder of his life, where he worked for PECO in the Main Line Division in Ardmore. He started out as a contract laborer and worked his way into the company on October 27, 1982 as a Senior Distribution Mechanic and First Class backhoe and boom truck operator for over 30 years. He was also a member of the infamous “Gas Gang”. He retired on June 27, 2020 after 38 years of service. Paul enjoyed cars, sports, watching Family Feud, and taking his daily drives around the town. He could frequently be found washing his car and drinking his favorite coffee from Dunkin Donuts. After his retirement, he spent a lot of his free time at Mayo’s Automotive and Joe and Bud’s Auto Repair stations in Havertown, where he would help out with customer service and deliveries.

What Paul loved mostly in his life was spending time with his family and friends.
