Paul Anthony Renon was born August 4, 1957, in Nampa, Idaho to Florentino “Paul” and Carmen Renon. Paul went home to Jesus on Thursday, August 4, 2022, surrounded by his loving wife, children, and family members after a courageous battle with cancer.
Paul grew up in Nampa, Idaho where he attended St. Paul, South Junior High, and Nampa High. After high school he worked at Selkirk Metalbestos for many years and finished his career of 18 years at Simplot in Caldwell, ID.
Paul loved to go to concerts and travel. He was an avid OU fan, and loved Nascar racing After being diagnosed with cancer, he was able to complete a few items off his bucket list. In July of 2020 he was able to go deep sea fishing in Biloxi, Mississippi. In June of 2021 he was able to attend the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City. In May of this year, he was able to attend a Nascar race in Dover, DE.
Paul had a large family. His favorite thing in life were his children. He talked about them often and loved them unconditionally. Paul also never met a stranger. He always made anyone that crossed his path smile and laugh with his witty humor and jokes.
Paul is survived by his wife Laura Renon. Son Shane Renon (Amber). Daughters Melissa Moulton (Dakota), Amy Gibson (Bill), Maranda Renon (Phillip), Lua Vaka, and Mayble Renon. His mother Carmen Renon. Sisters Marge Renon and Alice Weigel. Brother Tino Renon (Ann).
Paul is also survived by his grandchildren Sheigh, Jerilynn, Kristine, McKenna, Michael, Trinity, Kiana, Tatum, and David. As well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Florentino Paul Renon and his grandson, Braden Gene Gibson.
