Paul Albert Rees of Canon City, Colorado left this life to be with his Lord on March 28, 2015. He was born August 14, 1929 at Rich Hill, Missouri to Clarence and Mabel (Winters) Rees. After graduation, he moved to Meade County, Kansas and worked as a cowboy on a cattle ranch. On June 10, 1952, Paul married Shirley Cobb in Bentonville, Arkansas. Also in 1952, he was drafted into the United States Marine Corps and served two years in California. Paul and Shirley then moved back to Meade, Kansas, and Paul went to work for Northern Natural Gas. He worked for Northern Natural until his retirement in 1985. During this time, they lived in Beaver, Oklahoma, St. John, Kansas and Greensburg, Kansas.
