Patty L. Dixon Miller Sinsel, 85, of Clarksburg passed away to be with our LORD on June 10, 2016.
She was born February 6, 1931 in Clarksburg. Patty was an employee of Ormonds Hosiery and Lingerie in Clarksburg, JC Penney in Charleston and Clarksburg, Stonewall Jackson Hotel as a Hostess, Sheraton Inn as the Dining room manager and a manager for seven years of the Midtown Motel in Belington. She belonged to various organizations and clubs over the years, worked on various elections and was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church of Belington.
Patty is survived by her husband of 36 years Donald G. Sinsel, two lovely daughters, Joyce Gaye and husband Chuck Matheny of Florida, Karen L. and husband Brad Wamsley of Texas; three sisters, Eleanor A. DeCaire of Florida, Alice K. Parks of South Carolina and Nancy R. Huffman of West Virginia; five grandchildren, Jason Matheny, Amy Covey, Zachary Matheny, Ethan and Cameron Wamsley; Six great grandchildren, Haley, Bryanna and Jacob Covey, Jaxson, Lily and Victoria Matheny.
In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her daughter Melinda L. Gower; and four brothers, Harry Richard and William Andrew, Thomas Edward and Daniel “Danny” Ray Dixon.
