Patty Jo “Pat” Markey Lipe, 82, died on Monday, October 28, 2019 at St. Andrew’s Village in Aurora, Colorado. She was in hospice after a series of medical events over the past few months.
Pat was born at home in Ottawa County, Kansas on April 25, 1937. She grew up in Verdi, Kansas and graduated from Solomon High School. After graduation she worked in Salina. She met her future husband Charles “Chuck” Lipe through a mutual friend.
