Patty Jean Swiger, 75, of Sardis, OH passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 at the Arbors in Marietta, OH. She was born December 26, 1940 in Laura Lee, WV; daughter of the late William and Willa Jane Carlton Bragg. Patty is survived by one son, John L. Swiger of Sardis, OH; three daughters, Darlene and Doug Cochran of Sardis, OH, Rebecca C. Clark of Barberton, OH, Sharon M. and James Halpenney of Fairmont, WV; seven grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Jane McFan of Oklahoma, Bertha Mae McCullough of Chicago, ILL; Margaret Ann Welch of Louisiana; Dottie Goodwin of Haywood, WV; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Swiger; nine brothers and two sisters.
