Patty Gean McHenry, 61, of Junction City, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017, at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, with her family by her side. Patty was born October 18, 1955, in Centralia, the daughter of Ernest “Jr” Troutt and Viola (Smith) Troutt.

She married Jack McHenry on October 4, 1985, in Central City and he survives.

In addition to her husband Jack of 31 years, she is also survived by three children: Chandala Clark and special friend Frank Hassell of Centralia, Tyson McHenry and Lora of Sandoval, and Timothy McHenry and girlfriend Taylor Carter of Junction City; six grandchildren: Kourtney Lomax and Jacob Wooters of Junction City, Krimsen Huffstedler of Centralia, Sarah Mays of Sandoval, Sydni McHenry of Sandoval, Addalynn Ashlock of Jucntion City, and Rhett McHenry of Junction City; two great-grandchildren: Kyicen Lomax of Junction City and Kynleigh Wooters of Junction City; a sister: Rita Session and Greg of Centralia; very special sister-in-law: Susan Russell and husband Dave of Junction City; a niece: Siccley Session of Centralia; two nephews: Mike Tate and wife Lisa of Centralia and Aaron Tate and wife Patti of Iuka.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Rosemary Tate, mother-in-law and father-in-law: Robert McHenry and wife Jackie, and a brother-in-law: Tim McHenry. Patty worked at Littlefuse for 29 years. After working at Littlefuse, she attended Kaskaskia College and excelled in the CNA Program, and achieved the Dean’s List. She enjoyed camping and playing BINGO. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends.
