Patrick Santucci, 96, of Plainville MA, the devoted husband of Julia E. (Gaffney) Santucci, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side. He was born in Milford, MA a son of the late Carlo and Maria (Maiesto) Santucci. He has lived in Plainville several years. He served in the US Army during the 2nd World War serving in Northern France as a heavy truck driver. He suffered a disabling injury in Rechicourt in November of 1944. He was a Purple Heart recipient and received a Honorable Certificate of Disability for discharge in 1945. He was a self made business man and operated a trucking service for several years until his recent illness.
