Patrick James Saylor, 59, of Galesburg, died Thursday, November 29, 2018 at home.
Pat was born June 5, 1959 in Galesburg, the son of Frederick L. and Kathryn (McVeigh) Saylor.
Pat graduated from Carl Sandburg College and Knox College with a degree in Psychology. He worked as an accountant for Jumer’s Hotel in Galesburg for 25 years. He then worked for Barry Barash and Associates until his retirement. He was a devout Catholic and member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Pat was an avid history buff especially the Civil War and Abraham Lincoln. He also enjoyed reading, movies, was a football fan, and an avid Cubs fan.
Pat is survived by five cousins and numerous second and third cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his aunt Patricia McVeigh with whom he was extremely close.
