Our devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Patrick J. Hurley Jr., 69, unexpectedly died on May 27th, 2022, of lingering health issues.

He was born February 23rd 1953 in Ogden, a son of Patrick J. Hurley Sr. and Beverly Mae Taylor Hurley.

Patrick married his best friend Melody Aaron on March 12, 1985 in Las Vegas.  Patrick loved Melody’s three children, and from their marriage they had a son Thomas.

Patrick enjoyed his music, being outdoors, computers and he deeply loved his dogs, he liked to barbecue rib eye steaks and ribs. He enjoyed sports, especially coaching his son’s basketball and soccer teams.

Patrick co-owned and operated Bev’s Imports, a custom framing store in Riverdale for many years. He was a very hardworking and dedicated man. You could always depend on him to do the right thing.

Patrick was an awesome husband and father, he has always been admired and loved by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. His son Thomas was his only child and was the light of his life.

Surviving is his wife Melody; two sons and a daughter J. R. (Breanne) Wolfe, Jason Wolfe and Sabrina Wolfe; a daughter in law Christine Hurley; 15 grandchildren; a great-grandson; siblings Jan (David) Kimber, Sandy (Earl) Whetton, Todd (Mary) Hurley, Kevin (Laurie) Hurley, and Angie Boschetto. He is preceded in death by his son Thomas, his parents, brother Mike, and many relatives that loved him.

Melody would like to especially thank Denise for all her loving care of Patrick.
