Patrick Heard Crowley, loving son, twin, brother, and friend, died Tuesday, March 27. He was 26. Patrick wore many hats in his life: a tireless student whose work came effortlessly, an entrepreneur like his father, a friend to everyone he met, and a Coloradan through and through. He attended Graland Country Day and Kent Denver where he forged lifelong friendships with his peers and teachers alike. When he attended the University of Colorado in Boulder his creativity flourished. Not content with just school work to occupy him, Patrick worked for years at the local Patagonia store and became the Production Designer for TEDx Boulder. Patrick started Crowley Creative, producing work for many companies in both Boulder and Denver. He graduated with Honors in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Design and Architecture. In 2015 Patrick was diagnosed with leukemia. He faced the overwhelming odds resolutely and with a smile. Never one to complain, Patrick endured the worst the disease could bring, and stubbornly defied the odds in a way that surprised even the most jaded doctors.
