Patrick Flaherty, 60, of Ladd passed away, Friday morning, May 31, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Flaherty was born on March 25, 1959 in LaSalle to Francis and Jeanne (Mauser) Flaherty. He married Edith A. Ruppert on January 24, 2014 in Ottawa. Patrick was a cabinet maker for 43 years and enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Edith of Ladd; his step-mom, Virg Radke Flaherty of Peru; his children, Mike (Rachel Sienkiewicz) of LaSalle and Bill (Tiffany Petzel) Moore of Ladd; three grandchildren, Ashli, William and Matthew; one brother, John (Susan) Flaherty of Collierville, TN; two sisters, Mary (Thomas) Blair of Urbana and Nancy (Bill) Lubera of Bartlett; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
