Patrick Arlon Engel, 74, of Bergheim, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 19, 1948, the youngest of three children of Frank and Hilda Engel. He graduated from Canyon High School in 1966 and enlisted in the United States Navy. He was married to Martha Nickell of Cotulla, TX for forty-nine years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Alois. He is survived by his wife, Martha; his children, Karen (Thomas) Keeping, Steven Engel, and Michael (Palak) Engel; his grandchildren, Sean Keeping, Kevin Keeping, Blake Engel, and Kaleb Engel; his sister, Bernice (Stanley) Hons; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
