Patricia (Pat), beloved and cherished mom and grandmother passed away on 30 June 2022 from natural causes at 93 years old. Pat was born October 24, 1928, on a farm in Marwood, Pennsylvania to Ralph and Edna Hutzler, she was the youngest of six children. Pat graduated from South Hills High School in Beechview, PA in 1946 and went to airline school. She became a teletype operator for Capitol Airlines in Wash DC and then went to TWA (Trans World Airlines) in Pittsburgh, PA. She moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1962 while still working for TWA. In her fifties she moved to Manhattan Beach, California to work for Northrop Aircraft as their mailroom manager.
Pat lived a full and fun life. Pat was preceded in death by her son Dennis Brian Ditmore and her great grandson Zane Graywolf Thornton. Pat, was survived by her five children Daniel and Sally Hutzler of Wexford, PA; Dean Ditmore of Rio Rancho, NM; Darlene Ditmore of Causey, NM; Duane Wood of Star, ID; Denise and Lee Spalding of Tustin, CA. Grandchildren: Natalie Johnson; Garrett and Shannon Johnson; Jolene and Josh Grizzle; Harley Thornton; Sam Thornton, and Haylee and Ryan Harp. Great grandchildren are Lindsey Johnson, Louella Grizzle, Kelsey Donnelly, Brittney Donnelly, and Ashley and IvanLopez.
Pat loved children and animals especially eagles and dogs. She volunteered as child victim advocate and was immensely proud of her ability to help those in need. She was in awe of the accomplishments of all her children and grandchildren over the years.
