Patricia Dearborn Westby, born April 17, 1918, the daughter of Allen Dearborn and Faith Bostwick Dearborn, died April 2, 2018 in Dunwoody, Georgia. Patricia wed Jerome Westby in 1938, and the two resided in Janesville, Wisconsin where they raised four children: Susan W. (Richard) Kramer of Farmington, Connecticut; Jerome Westby, Jr. of Thousand Oaks, California; Robert (Amanda) Westby of Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England; and Steven A. (Sue) Westby, deceased, of Dunwoody, Georgia. She is also survived by a sister, Barbara Greenwood of Chicago, eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Patricia was pre-deceased by her sister Joan Macdonald of Janesville and a brother, Allen, of Racine, Wisconsin. Patricia’s family will always remember her sparkling conversation, chin-up approach to life, thoughtfulness, and excellent mixed drinks. “Gram” was an accomplished knitter who outfitted her grandchildren-and their dolls-with many beautiful clothes. She was an avid sports fan, especially for the Green Bay Packers, Atlanta Braves, and Wisconsin Badgers.
