Patricia “Trish” Lynn Van Devender, 59, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on July 13 after a courageous battle with liver disease.
Trish was born on April 21, 1963 to Lewis Keith (Pete) Stout and Connie Stout-Bell in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She grew up in Durango Colorado, a town that she adored all throughout her life. After attending Durango Senior High School, she moved to the Dallas ,Texas area where she trained and worked constantly to become a very talented and skilled dog groomer. Over the years, Trish connected with thousands of pet-lovers, who all deeply respected her wisdom and advice when it came to their fur or feathered friends.
Trish is survived by her husband of 23 years, Donnie Van Devender, her adult children, Kassidy Van Devender, Nicole Van Devender all of Colorado Springs; her mother Connie Bell of Penrose, Colorado ; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kevin and Carolyn Kinney of Colorado Springs; sister Laurie Lawrence (Dave) of Colorado Springs; sister-in-law, Pam Haley (Todd) of Frederick, Colorado; brother-in-law, Danny Van Devender of Steamboat Springs Colorado; nephews Cody Kraatz of Englewood, Colorado, David C. Lawrence of Colorado Springs, Jeremy Haley of Frederick ,Colorado and Michael Van Devender of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; and niece Jessica Haley of Denver, Colorado. She is predeceased by her father, Lewis Keith Stout of Ardmore, Oklahoma.
