Patricia Rivers Everette was born June 29, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois. For Pat, life began with a zest for being and knowing who she was. She loved living and often described herself as a “free spirit”. Pat never met a stranger and if you knew her, you loved her. She always worked in a job where giving to others was the focus. She spent her last years of employment working with disabled children who affectionately called her “Ms. E”. Pat enjoyed family time, a good party, laughter, and great music, especially a love ballad by Patti LaBelle, or a good rhythm and beat by Charlie Wilson. Everyone who knew her enjoyed her passion for a good hand of Spades and her self taught skill of reading people and boldly informing them of their astrological sign. She was an active member of Women After God’s Own Heart Ministry, Inc., committed to shaping the lives of young women through giving of her time and talent to Debutantes 4 Christ. A life we love quietly slipped away on July 18, 2017. Her words to us today would be . . . “Miss me, but let me go! ”
