Born January 6, 1931 in Dodge City, Kansas to Charles Benjamin Stotler and Lola Elsie Naylor.

Patricia was the oldest of 4. She was preceded in death by her parents , her brother Parker Stotler, her sister Elaine Scheer and her companion Jodie Law. Those surviving are her sister Carol Turner, in-laws, many nieces and nephews along with many friends.

Patricia grew up in Dodge City , KS and later moved to the Wichita, KS area.

She was a lady of many talents. She started her career studying to be a nurse , went into working with computers and data processing and moved to being a lineman, climbing the telephone poles for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company which is now AT&T (and a member of SW Bell Pioneers) She would climb along many men and could out do them. Driving a semi truck for harvest seemed like a breeze to her. She was a member and involved in many activities in the HRRVC (Holiday Ramblers). She would get many trophies for pulling a pickup and trailer through obstacle courses and also backing up a pickup and trailer into a parking slot. She use to bring her nieces and nephews goody bags from the camp outs.

Her and Jodie would travel down the road all across the country with the Holiday Ramblers or later on you would see them on a Harley Davidson. She always loved the sound of a Harley!!! When Jodie wasn’t able to drive a Harley anymore they got a sidecar for her and you would see Pat and Jodie going down the roads on their motorcycle on a trip with the motorcycle group to Sturgis or just strolling the countryside.

They would attend many family activities, holidays , birthdays, weddings, reunions etc… all their trips, get togethers and family activities would be remembered by all the pictures she took and can I tell you a lot of them. A lot of her pictures are on slides( this younger generation may not know what I’m talking about). She also loved dogs(mostly smaller ones). They would be small enough for her to carry on her arm.

Being a member and involved in Ham Radio was yet another hobby she enjoyed.

After many years of living in Kansas they finally decided to retire in San Benito, Texas at the Fun and Sun resort. There she spent many years enjoying the weather and involved in many activities such as president of the computer club, playing cards, bingo, swimming (water exercises) and watching radio control car races. She drove a tour bus for Go with Jo and Encore driving. She would take tour groups to Mexico, over to McAllen Texas to see the Christmas lights, and even to South Padre Island. She was in the group Red Hats and a motorcycle group called the Crabs.

Later she moved to Golden Palms Rehabilitation and Retirement Center in Harlingen, TX where she was also involved in many activities such as calling bingo, setting up the room for bingo putting out the bingo cards and crocheting lap afghans for some of the residents. Even though she was 91 years of age she was still driving herself to doctors appointments, out to eat lunch with the different groups of friends that she was involved with and you would see her helping others, even those that were younger than her.

Patricia (Pat as many of you knew her) you will be deeply missed but not forgotten.
