Patricia Garrity McCullough, 79, of Markleville, passed away on September 2, 2014, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional following an extended illness. She was born on July 28, 1935, in Anderson to William and Dorothy (West) Garrity.
She resided most of her life in Madison County. She retired from Delco Remy in 1990 after 35 years of service where she was one of the first women to break the glass ceiling into a skilled trade position. She was an avid reader and fan of football and basketball. She followed politics closely and faithfully voted in every election.
Patricia is survived by her loving spouse whom she married in 1972, David McCullough, of Markleville; three daughters, Gloria Shelton of Markleville, Dawn (Chris) Wiseman of Indianapolis, and Lisa DeBruhl of Indianapolis; and a son, David (Aaron) Douglas of Portland, OR; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
