Patricia DeVoe Rogers of Atlanta, Georgia died Monday, April 26, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents Hazel von Stark DeVoe and Maxwell DeVoe. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, she was a graduate of the University of Tennessee with degrees in Psychology and English. At university she was president of the Delta Delta Delta, a member of the Mortar Board, recipient of the Torchbearer Award for Leadership and Scholarship, a member of the Women s Swimming Team and runner-up for the regional Olympic Trials. Following graduation she was hired as one of the first women buyers for Rich s Department Store. In 1962 she married C.B. Rogers III of Atlanta.
