Patricia M. Schessler, 91, formerly of Bradford, Pa., passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Westminster Village in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Peter A. Schessler who passed away in 1997. Born in Bradford, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Marion (Cook) Connelly. Pat graduated from Bradford High School. She was a volunteer at Meals on Wheels in Bethlehem and was a member of the Lioness Club, wherever she lived. Pat was a Girl Scout Leader, a member and volunteer at the Landmark Society of Bradford, Pa. and a member of the Catholic Women’s Club of Bradford. She was also an Historical Writer, specializing in the Oil Industry in Western, Pa. She was a Reporter for the Times Herald in Franklin, Pa. Pat enjoyed traveling and was an avid conversationalist. She was a life member at St. Bernard Church in Bradford, Pa., where she was a Lector and Eucharistic Minister. She also served in those same capacities at St. Jane’s de Chantel of Palmertown Twp. Survivors: surviving are her children, Gregory Schessler and his wife, Betty of Erie; Molly Kloss and her husband, Ron of Bradford; Mark Schessler and his wife, Cindy of Bethlehem; Jeff Schessler and his wife, Maureen of Nazareth; Lisa Kuscan of Fountain Hill, Pa. Julie Sanders and her husband, Dave of Bethlehem; and Matt Schessler and his wife, Melody of Kunkletown; a sister, Helen Wolfe of Bradford; 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. In addition to her husband, Pat was preceded in death by a son-in-law Orrin Kuscan, a grandson Brian Kloss, a brother, Raymond Connelly and a sister, Joann Stidd.
