Patricia M. Ray, of Anderson, passed away May 10, 2016 at Saint Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital Anderson, IN.
She was born November 8, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan and resided most of her life in Anderson. She was a homemaker and pastors wife, she also worked for Anderson Community Schools as a bus driver and Anderson University. She was a member of the Church at Linwood where she was a leader of the women. Patricia was a wonderful church mother, mother to her children and wife. She enjoyed animals and gardening and providing for all of her family and friends.
Patricia is survived by her loving spouse whom she married, February, 27, 1965 Rev. John Ray, of Anderson, IN, son, James (Kathy) Ray of Anderson, IN, daughter, Angela Ray of Anderson, IN, daughter, Beverly Smith of Anderson, son, Isaiah (Janeen-Medina) Ray of IL, sister, Beverly Llombart of MI, mother-in-law, Jane Ray of Anderson, brother and sister in-laws, Claude and Myra Creel of Pendleton, Daniel Ray of Anderson, grandchildren, Daisy Ray, Jarod Ray, Mollie Dittlinger, Mia Rodriguez, Ashley Heiney, Michael Heiney, Angela Smith, Damian Smith, Justina Lebron, Christina Lebron, great-grandchildren, Ethan and Natalee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and special friends, Paul and Tina Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 grandchildren, and a brother-in-law, Philip Ray.
