She was born September 23, 1947 in Paducah, KY to the late Ted Armstrong and the former Edna Louise Shelby.Mrs. Boring will be remembered for her love of family, and as “Band Mom” to so many during her children’s school years.Mrs. Boring is survived by her husband, Sam Boring; sons, Patrick Herndon and Mark Herndon ; daughters, Dawn Griffin, Crystal Walker and Danielle Alexander; brother, Kenneth Armstrong; fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
