Patricia Lee Pankau, 92, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 9, 2023, at her home.
On December 28, 1955, she married Leon Pankau in Denver, Colorado. An expatriate for 24 years, she traveled the world with her husband and children, living in Trinidad, Angola, South Africa, Belgium, England, Denmark, and Mallorca. She worked as private dietician while in London, England, and she has lived and cared for her grandchildren and husband in Idaho Falls since 1997. Patricia was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid reader especially of mystery and sci-fi. Her favorite places to be were Hawaii and Trinidad.
Patricia is survived by her 3 loving sons, Michael (Cathryn) Pankau of Idaho Falls, ID, Brian Pankau of Denver, CO, and Shaun (Lee) Pankau of Alpharetta, GA; sister, Eleanor of MA, and brother, Robert (Virginia) of Rockport, MA; 4 grandchildren , 1 great-grandchild and three beloved cats.
She was preceded in death by her husband, father and mother.
