Patricia Lee Devore was born on May 24, 1932. She grew up in western Nebraska where she worked hard with her parents, LeRoy and Mary Jane Hedin, on the family homestead. She married Robert Devore in 1949 and moved to Idaho in 1953 where she spent the remainder of her life. They had five children: Jennifer Meyer, Jeanette Devore, Jeffery Devore, Jill Sykes (Robert), and Jason Devore (Michael Kleinschmit). As a stay at home mom, she took great pride in her children’s successes.
