Patricia L. Thompson, 58, of Peoria, formerly of Galesburg, died at 6:41 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2018 at St. Margaret’s Hospital, Spring Valley, IL.Patty was born July 9, 1959 in Canton, IL.
She is survived by one son, Joseph (Amanda) Thompson of Bourbonnais; one daughter, Breanna Thompson of Galesburg; three granddaughters, Emma Thompson, Alayah and Arianna Walker; and two half brothers, Michael and Chris Thompson. Patty is also survived by her significant other, John Froman of Peoria and his children, Tiffany, Brittany, Johnny, and Jason Froman.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd D. and Verna A. Thompson.Patty graduated from the Carl Sandburg College School of Nursing in 1994. She worked as a LPN for many years at St. Mary’s Square in Galesburg and spent the last several years working at Courtyard Estates in Peoria. Patty enjoyed spending time with her family especially her three granddaughters. She also enjoyed cooking, shopping, and collecting.
