Patricia “Pat” L. Jones, 75 of Centralia passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013 at home. Pat was born June 14, 1938 in Richland County, daughter of Joseph & Naomi (Stone) Thomas. She married Darrell Jones on June 8, 1981 in Centralia and he preceded her in death on May 19, 2003.
She is survived by four sons: James L. McCoy and wife Judy of Centralia, Joseph W. McCoy and wife Brenda of Centralia, Bryan Scott McCoy and wife Lisa of Centralia and Jeffery Allen and wife Dawn of Centralia; a daughter Linda J. Michael and husband Ronald of Texico; two step sons: Lee Jones of Trenton and Billy Jones of Odin; a step-daughter: JoAnn Meinert and husband Stan of New Minden; eleven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; one brother: Charlie Thomas and wife Candy of Centralia; four sisters: Barbara Lay and husband Gerald of Arkansas, Susie King of Centralia, Donna Sanders of Centralia and Judy Schossler and husband Val of Centralia; four brothers in law Paul Jolliff of Junction City, Mike Pryor, Bob Jones and wife Nellie and Harold Jones and wife Darlene all of Centrlaia; three sisters in law Sue Thomas of Junction City, Donna Connelly and Alice Finley of Centralia; and several nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Ronald Thomas; two sisters Beverly Jolliff and Janice Pryor; and two brother-in-laws: John King and Earl Sanders. Pat enjoyed shopping, gardening, and her flowers. Pat was employed at Littelfuse for 35 years. She also enjoyed cooking for family and friends and camping. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
