BUTNER Mrs. Patricia Kay Sellers, 77, of Butner, died on Wednesday, February 5, 2014.
Mrs. Sellers was born in Erwin N.C. to the late Bernice Hargrove and Ruby Roberts Hargove. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Senior Center in Creedmoor. She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and the Bethesda Ruritan Club. She loved taking care of her grandbabies and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Sellers and a son, James Robert Matthews.
She is survived by three sons, Dennis R. Moore and wife, Sara of Melbourne, Fla., Bobby L. Matthews and wife, Ruth of Durham and David C. Matthews and wife, Sarah of Creedmoor; daughter, Patsy K. Barker and husband, James of Rougemont; brother, Clifford Hargrove and wife, Joanne of Cary; two sisters, Norma Forbush and Jackie Watkins; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
