Patricia “Kay” Schweitzer, 74, of Spencer passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Lakes Regional Healthcare of Spirit Lake.
Kay was born on July 6, 1946 in Richland Center, WI to Patrick and Louise (Herlitz) Berry. She was united in marriage to Clarence Schweitzer on April 22, 2006 in Spencer. She worked for 10 years for the Spencer Hospital as a Dietary Aid. She later went to work for the Eaton Corporation as a machinist. She retired from there after 20 years of service.
Kay was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge in Spencer and the Precious Moments Club based out of Missouri. In her free time, she enjoyed reading any and all books written by Debbie Macomber and Julie Endhart.
She is survived by her husband Clarence Schweitzer of Spencer; sons Steve (Tanya) Schreier of Dakota City, NE; Scott Schreier of Ocheyedan, IA; daughter Sandra (Cory) Rike of Emmetsburg, IA; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and many stepchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
