Patricia K. Buckley, age 68, Huntsville, Alabama passed away on 25 November 2020 of the Covid-19 virus.

Pattie was born in Flushing, New York to Walter and Dorothea Roth on 2 January 1952. She graduated Saint Ann’s in 1966 and graduated Saint Agnes High School in 1970.  She enjoyed taking classes at Queens College, City University of New York.

She worked as a Citi Bank teller in New York, in Mrs. Gibbles’s Restaurant as a hostess, and cashier for Walgreens Pharmacy in Alabama.  She loved her jobs because she could meet and talk to hundreds of people a day.  She enjoyed shopping every day in person and on line. She loved to watch her children and grandchildren play sports and volunteered her time at their school and athletic events.  She enjoyed our vacations to the Gaylord Opryland Resort, Nashville, TN, shows on the General Jackson Showboat and Grand Ole Opry, night life on the strip, and Joe’s Crab Shack. She had so many friendships throughout her life and cherished each of them.

Pattie is survived by her:

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Huntsville Hospital’s MICU Doctors and nurses who gave her the best care possible for 3 weeks in her fight against Covid-19 virus.  They showed patience, kindness, compassion and empathy toward her husband, her children and grandchildren.  They played the loving videos her grandchildren made and filled the ICU wall with the loving artwork the children created.  Thank you.
