Patricia June Drury, “Aunt Pat,” was escorted to heaven with peace and family by her side. She fought her final war with pain on Wednesday the 16th of August in Taft, CA. Born in 1943 in Salinas, CA, Aunt Pat received an Associate’s Degree from Taft College. She had a love for photography, capturing memories of special occasions and those she held close to her heart. She took great pride in helping with ministry projects and holding the spiritual mantel for her family. Aunt Pat had a fun-loving, adventurous spirit. Trips to the beach, camping at the mountains and road trips across the country were some of her favorite experiences in life. It was important for her to create special memories with all of her kids. For the past 10 years, Aunt Pat resided at the Heritage Park Senior Apartments where she made many friends and shared the love of Jesus. She was known for her good cooking, green thumb, crafting and lifting up others in prayer. Patricia June Drury is survived by her siblings La Wanda Downs, Wesley Hugh Horsley, Bennie Ray Horsley, Drussilla Fay Rofkahr, Ethelene Reed, and numerous nieces and nephews. She joined her mother and father, Launda Ethel Horsley and Herbert Lee Horsley, and her two brothers, Herbert Mackyeal Horsley and Jimmy Lynn Horsley, in heaven.
