Patricia Joann Temple Drury Owens, 83, of Wheeling, WV died on Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Liza’s Place, Wheeling, WV.
She was born September 17, 1933 in Kingwood, WV the daughter of the late Floyd and Goldie Weaver Temple. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Goodman, MO and a current member of the First Baptist Church in Wheeling, WV.
Pat received two master’s degrees, one as a Reading Specialist and the other one in School Psychology. She was an Educator for 38 years in Preston County, WV, Marshall County, WV, McDonald County, MO and in Arkansas. She was a member of the Lambda Chapter ADK and the CEOS of Marshall County.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Her husband, Hary Owens; her brothers, French, Leo, Lantz and Bobby Dale Temple and a sister, Maxine Borgman.
Surviving are her daughter, Joann Toth and her husband, John Toth, Sr of Wheeling, WV; her four grandchildren, Shanel Phillis, Patricia Toth, John Toth, Jr and Joseph Toth; six great grandchildren, Nicole, Alexia, John, III, Chelsea, Kristina, and Corey; a half-sister, Donna McConkey and a sister, in law, Lucille Temple.
