Patricia Joann (Lindegard) Gross, 81 of Freeport, died Wednesday, February 19, 2020. Born November 22, 1939 in Monmouth, Illinois to John and Betty Lindegard. She married Kenneth Gross on June 1, 1968.
Pat was a faithful and loyal servant of her God, Jehovah. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses at age 11 on October 12, 1950, and served many years as a full-time pioneer. She has been part of the Freeport Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses since her marriage to Kenneth Gross in 1968. We are all looking forward to Jehovah’s promise of the future when Pat will be resurrected back to life on earth along with her husband where he will have his eyesight restored.
Pat cared for her husband Kenny, who was blind, making sure of what he was wearing, helped him prepare for the meetings where he served as an elder in the Freeport Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Pat was preceded in death by husband Kenneth Gross and her parents, Betty & John Lindegard and her brother John (Jack) Lindegard Jr.
