Patricia Jo Carnes, age 75, of Clarksburg passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at her residence. She was born May 14, 1942 in Bristol, WV; daughter of the late Wilson F. and Freda Hyde Dennison.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard A. Carnes of Clarksburg, WV; three daughters, Delberta McKinney of Brushy Fork, WV, Dianna Bailey Miller & her husband, Paul of Bridgeport, WV, and Sandra Mikes & her husband, Joseph of Clarksburg, WV; four grandchildren, Cassandra “Candy” Bailey, Richard “Ricky” Bailey, Lane McNeil and Laken McNeil; three great-grandchildren, Kaydence Bailey, Brendon Bailey, and Maddison Rose; a brother, Howard L. Dennison of Wolf Summit, WV; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by a grandchild, Mallory Jo McKinney; son-in-law, Alan McKinney; two brothers, Russell D. Dennison and Wilson “Frank” Dennison, Jr.
Patricia was a member of the Clarksburg Church of God; where she taught Sunday School for 28 years. She loved her grandchildren and crocheting all the time. Patricia baby sat at her home for many children.
