Patricia Jean Gage, 71 years old, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, June 2nd, 2016, after five years of battling ovarian cancer. Pat was surrounded by family at her home. She was born to Howard and Esther Gage in Yakima, Washington on July 18th, 1944.
Pat spent part of her early childhood in Eugene, Oregon and moved to Emmett, Idaho in 1957. She attended Emmett High School and graduated in 1962.
She enjoyed writing, painting, gardening, picking huckleberries, canning, and made awesome strawberry jam and homemade sweet tea. Pat gave her life to the Lord in Eugene in 1953. She loved the Lord and He let her witness many miracles, with one standing out to her of seeing a Cross in the sky at High Valley, August, 1972. Herb Cummings was a very special person in her life and they spent many special times together, some of which were in High Valley.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, a baby sister and brother. She is survived by her sister, Marilyn; three children, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, along with cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pat wanted to express her love and adoration from a grateful heart for all the care the Lord has given her and her family while she travelled this Earth.
