Patricia J. Vandevier, 83, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away May 3, 2016. She was born March 25, 1933 in West Terre Haute, Indiana to William Collins and Pearl Collins. Patricia was a member of the Assembly of God in West Terre Haute, Indiana. She enjoyed camping, fishing, the outdoors, gardening, and playing Yahtzee. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Earl Vandevier; children Kathy Cassidy, Kim Vandevier, his wife Tammy, and Tom Vandevier; grandchildren Kristi Jo Dickison, Derek Vandevier, Tyler Garvin, Kimberly Brown, Lyndsay Vandevier, and Morgan Wilson; great grandchildren Dylan and Whitney Dickison, Matthew Denny, Emily Denny, Joelin Brown, and Caius Brown; great great grandchildren, Cameron, Jaylynn and Ashton; sisters Erma Cooper and Betty Hecklesberg. She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Bill Collins, Uldine Harmon, Carol McDaniel, Virginia Sankey, Margie Richardson, and Harriott McCoy.
