Patricia Jane Sperry, 86, of Galesburg, died at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2018 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg.

Pat was born July 10, 1932 in Monmouth, the daughter of William Earl and Alice Mary (Cook) Harris. She married George F. Sperry on January 16, 1970 in Chicago. He preceded her in death on November 20, 2017.

Pat is survived by three daughters, Susan (Gene) Sullivan of Galesburg, Sheri Shepherd of Galesburg, and Sandy Elliott of New Salisbury, Indiana; three sons, Steve (Becky) Sperry of Galesburg, Jim Sperry of rural Oneida, and Jack Sperry of Galesburg; 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter; one sister Mary Karlovich of Galesburg; and three brothers, David (Marilyn) Harris of Carl Junction, MO, Stanley (Donna) Harris of Lockport, and Donald (June) Harris of Morton.

Pat worked at Monmouth Hospital, Sylvania in Burlington, IA, Block & Kuhls and Galesburg Research Hospital. She was the bookkeeper for Rite-Way Disposal for 30 years, retiring in 1996.

Pat was a member of First Christian Church in Galesburg. She was a member and past Matron of Galesburg Chapter #235, Order of the Eastern Star and a member, serving as Worthy High Priestess of Bethel White Shrine #27, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem 5 times. She enjoyed her family and grandchildren, sewing, counted cross stitching, scrap booking and quilting.

Pat also enjoyed Genealogy and was a member of the General Society of the Mayflower Descendants, The Great Prairie Colony of Mayflower decendents in Illinois and the Knox County Genealogy Society.
