Patricia Jean Gundzik
Patty passed away on October 5, 2012 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, after a lengthy illness.
She was born September 24, 1937 in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky to Hilda and Eugene Waldman. She met her husband, John D. Gundzik, and they were married March 2, 1957. The couple lived in Newport, Kentucky, and then moved to Cleveland, Ohio where John completed his medical training. In 1962, the family moved to Orleans, France, where her husband served in the Army. The family then settled in Santa Fe in 1964. She worked for a number of years as a property manager. Her sweet sense of humor touched the lives of all.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Townsend. In addition to her husband, survivors include: Gregory (Laura Mandell) of College Station, TX, John M. (Coleen) of Bakersfield, CA, and Jeanne Rinehouse (Steve) of Shavertown PA. She is also survived by brother Jim Evans, and sister, Peggy Horner of Kentucky. Patty was also blessed with many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
